The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. ~Isaiah 58:11

Ok, we had absolutly now idea what this was when someone gave it to us. If you cut it open you know right away what it is, but I just wanted to see if any of you guys knows what this is. First off, is it a fruit or veggie? Second, what is the name of it. As far as I know, they dont have them in Indiana, but I am probably wrong about that. We just never saw one till we came here. They are really good as far as I am concerned.

A cucumber apple?
I have no idea.
it's a pumpkin!!!

We think it is a fruit and you have to cut it and cook it to eat it. Please don't keep Mary and Grandma in suspense!!
I say....its some sort of plant....yup yup yup.
uh, i like nathan's idea...lol, prolly a fruit...but you never know...looks can be decieving...
Nathan, congrats, you win the prize. It is a cucumber apple. I dont know if that is considered a fruit or an apple.
Liz, sorry, no it is not a pumpkin. The pumpkins here are gray instead of orange. How weird is that?
Grandma, you dont cook it, you just peel it like a cucumber and it it, or even if you want to, just eat it like an apple.
Leeann, you are brilliant. You sound like ducky. yep yep yep.
Andrew, Nathan is a good person to agree with, becuase he got it right.
I'm not all that smart - I just saw the name of the pic when I clicked it.
Nathan, you are still smart, no one else thought of that.
